Xiaomi has launched the internationally known Mi Note 10 Mi CC9 Pro with an AMOLED board. There were some reports that the device may have a global market Samsung or LG camera, but a Xiaomi executive announced that the only display vendor is Visionox-the company that developed the Mi Mix Alpha wrap-up solution.
Visionox is headed by Tsinghua University’s OLED group in Beijing, #16 in the 2020 QS World University Ranking, leapfrogging the universities of Yale and Columbia. After a foldable model and the Mi Mix Alpha, the Mi Note10/Mi CC9 Pro venture is third for the product, but in reality the first to enter the mass market.
The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 comes with a 6.47 “screen on the sides with curved edges and the top with a waterdrop notch. It has a resolution of Full HD+ with a ratio of 19.5:9 and a fingerprint scanner below.
When we tested the handset, we found that the OLED would hit the amazing 430 nits of brightness that could go as far as the 600 nits that Xiaomi promised when you set the smartphone on Auto in bright light.
