The iPhone SE was launched in 2016 and added updated hardware to the 2-year-old iPhone 5s frame (at the time). We have learned about his replacement since then, but it seems that it eventually comes in Q1 2020. The phone is supposed to feature the iPhone 8 model and will launch at a dollar under $400 according to Ming-Chi Kuo’s latest report.
The second-gen iPhone SE comes with the A13 Bionic chipset coupled with 3 GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage of 64 GB or 128 GB, according to the analyst. Space Grey, Gold, and Red are the paint choices.
In spite of the low starting cost, Kuo expects the iPhone SE 2 to be quite successful and expects Apple to win over a lot of new midrange customers.
