A new budget smartphone, called Infinix S5, was announced today by Hong Kong-based phone maker Infinix.
The Infinix S5 is built around a 6.6 “20:9 HD+ screen with a hole for the 32MP selfie camera in the top-left corner. It has a fingerprint scanner around the rear to keep the quad camera setup in the upper-left corner vertically balanced.
This system incorporates a 16MP primary, an ultra-wide 5MP, 2MP range, and a low-light sensor. The 5MP module also allows you to take object macro shots as close as 2.5 cm away. Not only that, you can also use the 5MP camera to record macro images.
Inside, the Infinix S5 has a 4GB RAM Helio P22 SoC and runs XOS 5.5 atop Android Pie. The smartphone has 64GB of storage plus a dedicated microSD card slot that allows up to 256GB of storage expansion.

The Infinix S5 packs a battery of 4,000mAh and comes in two shades-Quetzal Cyan and Violet. It’s priced at INR8,999 ($125/€115) and you can purchase one through Flipkart in India from October 21.
