We heard yesterday that the 20 Lite is being launched today by Honor. It turned out that this was a translation error and the company actually just announced the phone’s start date, including a smartphone image with a fancy blue-pink gradient.
With no fingerprint scanners on the rear, the Honor 20 Lite will formally appear on October 22-the reader will be on the front under the AMOLED camera.
Using a fingerprint scanner under-display is not an innovation in the smartphone industry, but for some reason, Honor has only one smartphone with the feature-the Magic 2 slider which is only available in China.
One of a handful of smartphones from the Huawei subsidiary with a non-LCD panel will be the latest Honor 20 Lite (not to be confused with the international Honor 20 Lite, marketed in China as Honor 20i).
Certain mobile features include a Kirin 810 cpu, up to 8 GB of RAM and memory of 256 Mb. There are three cameras on the rear, 48 MP being the primary one. The front panel has an unusually high ratio of 6.3 “diagonal and Full HD+ resolution.
